RubyKaigi - Hotels?

Hi All,

Has anybody who's been to RubyKaigi (or Tokyo) before got any suggestions on a semi-decent quality hotel/B&B, closer to central Tokyo than to the conference itself? Nothing fancy or needlessly pricey, but not budget accommodation for backpackers.

I'll ask on Lonely Planet's Thorn Tree too.

I tend to use airbnb when travelling these days… you could get a small, self contained private apartment for a little more than a pretty tiny hotel room in Tokyo.

I stayed at "The B Ochanomizu" in... Ochanomizu when I went to Rubi Kaigi.

The price was ¥35000 for two people over two nights but they extended
the stay for a week at the same rate.

The hotel was unremarkable but since I was out and about most of the
time it didn't matter :-)
