Job Description:Zibbet is a fast growing startup with real traction, based in Sydney, Australia. We're on the hunt for a senior ruby developer that is ready for a change, a new challenge and an opportunity to join the Zibbet team at the foundational level. You'll be responsible for rebuilding our current site, which is currently built on a convoluted, custom PHP framework, with a bit of Java thrown in there for good measure! This makes for a complex beast that is hard to work with and isn't scaling well.
We're about to raise our first round of funding, and when this closes we'll be adding a front end UI/UX dev, plus 2 more back-end ruby devs.
Salary:We're offering $52,000/annum (initially) + significant equity in the company. We realise you're worth much more than $1,000/week, but the real value of this opportunity lies in the equity. We're offering a generous amount of equity for the stage of the startup lifecycle we're at, as we want you to share in our success. Once we close our funding, your salary will increase to normal market rates.
