So, therefore, what other rails based blogging software do you all use? Any suggestions?
However, I'm not still convinced blogging with Rails adds much value.
Wordpress is a better choice for most things.

Well, there's the whole "eat your own dogfood" thing. If I'm trying to
sell Rails services, and my site is running on PHP...

Q: Why is this email five sentences or less?
A: http://five.sentenc.es/
Marcus helped me deploy SimpleLog to http://dataconstellation.com/blog
on Thursday, and although I haven't skinned it at all, it looks and
works
fine. It doesn't have Akismet integration yet though, so I'm going to
have
to watch out for comment spam. The other thing is that Apache2.0's
webproxy has problems prefetching large posts to forward on to Mongrel.
If anyone knows how to fix this I'd be delighted, as it's pretty hard to
get an amd64 Apache2.2 for Ubuntu :-(.
I posted my first message "How to ruin a Rails project" on Thursday
evening
and have been at the top of dzone.com and rubyinside.com, and still
in the
top ten now, so that's a good start...
... and this was a good opportunity to spam you all about it :-).
Big up to Marcus Crafter for his help,
