Melbourne RORO Presents

Well, it's Melbourne RORO week again! I have a good one lined up. Vital statistics:
- This Thursday, the 27th of October, at Inspire9: http://d.pr/qZ15
- Arrive at 6pm for a drink before the 6.30pm start
- Contact me (@ben_h / 0438 240 583) if you are lost or confused.
This month, RORO returns to Inspire9, at 1/41 Stewart St, Richmond. http://d.pr/qZ15 It's directly outside the Richmond train station (which is one stop from Flinders St). Look for the A.K.M. arrow http://d.pr/NM0v and take the lift to level 1.
This month, we have a special guest speaker. Charles Nutter of JRuby will be presenting from the US, using the power of the internet. He'll school us on JRuby and take our questions.
We'll have a proper Skype set up with good video and sound, and Charles is keen to shape his talk based your questions and interests. So, reply to the list with suggestions and get involved!
There'll be plenty of time for some short talks as well, so please do get in touch if you'd like to speak. Anything between 30 seconds and 15 minutes would be great.

In my haste to type and send that email I forgot to mention an important bit. It would be remiss of me not to thank James Ladd for teeing up Charles' talk on Thursday, and putting him in touch with RORO.
It's great to for us rubyists to have connections with our overseas friends and colleagues. The more the better. So, thanks very much James, you're a gentleman :)
