We are looking for talented 2 experienced RoR Developers to join a leading tech-delivery company based in Sydney. You will be joining a mid-sized ScaleUp looking to move to the next level.
Leaders in the Same-Day Delivery space. Think Uber for online and brick & mortar retailers. The tech delivery platform is world-class and performs 150 000 deliveries a month.
They work with 3 of the top 4 most “Trusted Brands in Australia” - Woolworths, Coles, Apple, and have 3500+ clients, small and big.
They leverage their large crowd-sourced fleet of drivers to deliver products for Australian businesses from store to door, same day and faster.
Growing fast, great years ahead with plenty of cool challenges to tackle, new features to develop and fun to be had. They are very agile so expect to be solving interesting business problems in addition to working on the core platform.
They are now hiring two Ruby on Rails Engineers (RoR) to join their talented tech team of 6 devs (total headcount 45). RoR is the core tech, they also work with Python, Golang, JS. They use GCP, Kubernetes, Docker and deploy often.
As their new RoR Engineer, you will:
- Build new products and features that improve the customers' lives
- Write high-performance, maintainable Ruby on Rails
- Consume and design RESTful APIs
- Investigate and fix bugs reported by the customers or drivers
- Participate in product/feature design and review sessions
- Maintain the application by upgrading dependencies and tackling tech debt
