# Rails Girls London Weeklies (RGL Weeklies)
The Rails Girls London Organisers are happy to announce that we will be
starting a new, regular event called "RGL Weeklies" for our alumnae and for the
more advanced learners in the Rails Girls London community.
Each RGL weekly will have at least one RGL Coach (most likely several) in
attendance to answer your questions about Ruby on Rails. We can help you choose
a longer-term project to work on. This is the "go build something" that Ali
mentioned earlier on this mailing list.
The RGL Weeklies take place every Wednesday from 7-9pm (ish) at various locations
around London. Our space for the Weeklies is limited to 15 attendees, so we
need you to let us know in advance whether you plan to attend one.
We encourange you to use the RGL Weeklies as an opportunity to team up with
other women from the Rails Girls community to provide support for each other.
There is a strong emphasis on "pair programming" in the Ruby community because
it is simply the best way to share knowledge and learn the communication skills
necessary to be a programmer.
We aren't yet certain about the demand for the RGL Weeklies, so we will be
fine-tuning our offering for several weeks and using all sorts of tools to see
who is available when. To that end, we'd like to ask you to fill in a Doodle to
let us know when you're available:
Warm Regards,
Damon Davison
