Many user types and many roles for each user types

Hi !

I want to give cream a try but I am bit novice and not sure what the
best approach is.

I am using mongoid by the way.


I need 2 have 3 different user types:
- I say different user types, because they need to have a different
registration process and store different data to the db
- these different type of users will access different part of the
application

I need to have different ability within the user types:
- john is a user type1 and has the role1 which gives him the right
to do this and that
- charly is a user type1 and has the role2 which gives him the right
to do something else, etc.

And this for each possible user type.

I would like to have different registration process for each user
types but ONLY ON login form, which would redirect the user to the
proper application section depending on their type.


Anyway I can do this with cream in less than 3 minutes ? :) Just
kidding, but any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Actually, now that I come to think of it... all 3 different user types
should probably be a sub class of the main "User" model, because I
want to make sure I cannot have the same email in user type1 and in
user type2 ?

this complexify things even further...
