Disability income protection

Does anyone carry disability income protection?

I do. I was able to convert it over to a portable policy when i left my last perm job.

I do also, unfortunately if your self employed, an S-Corp, or LLC and
own a majority of the shares this isn't going to be a tax deduction.

C-Corps though can deduct it along with life insurance and healthcare.

I don't, since the average length of time a disability prevents
someone from working a job is 3 years, and I have enough money in
savings to support myself over that period of time. (If I get married
and have kids, though, I'll definitely be purchasing a policy!)
