Rails API generated by ruby-docs is great but the way to look and
search around is not to good. For this reason Api-dock is my choice
for Rails doc.

Today I found this link and he try to improve search capabilities in
Rails default API. Why not improve the api default website and add
some search feature like this?

http://voloko.ru/sdoc/rails/rdoc/

I've moved the whole thing from http://voloko.ru/sdoc/rails/rdoc/ to
http://railsapi.com
Generator is also available as a gem now (at http://github.com/voloko/sdoc/).
It's open source, and MIT licensed.

I'll be glad if community could use it.

DHH, says on Twitter something like this:

"My domain registration service for rubyonrails.org has fucked up again and parked the domain. Hopefully it'll be back very shortly!"
(as you can see on http://twitter.com/d2h)

thanks/Slavo.

maybe this tweet from @d2h explains it a bit:

"My domain registration service for rubyonrails.org has fucked up
again and parked the domain. Hopefully it'll be back very shortly!"

Cheers,

Will an entry in my hosts file provide a temporary fix until the DNS
is restored? Does anyone have the IP address for the servers?

Miles

I seem to be still resolving to the website.

IP I have is 209.20.86.131 - popping an entry in your hosts file ought to help, unless they are using assestsx.ror.org or wiki. etc
