Hi,
seems like everyone is moving to cloud based PAAS.

Heroku: https://www.heroku.com/
Pivotal: http://www.gopivotal.com/
IBM BlueMix: https://ace.ng.bluemix.net/#/home

Mike Henke has a video for Railo on Heroku at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4VpYkP2Pltc

I feel, if Railo wants to compete with Java, Groovy, Scala, Node and Ruby it needs more integration and tutorials in the mentioned services.
Because it's based on the JVM it should work. But the PAAS providers does offer only tutorials for other languages.

What do you think?

ahh great aaanother PaaS vendor, just what the world needs.

i suppose the Railo team could write a how to for every possible cloud solution that supports Railo.. but then we might never get Railo 5.

Maybe you could signup for a free trial and do a how to video for the community?  I'm sure the Railo team would link it from the docs.

Hi Chris,

sure, when I will publish my app I will write the steps down and publish them.

The mentioned PaaS vendors are some of the largest companies in the field around.
I guess they should not be ignored, even if they ignore railo. ;-)

Hi Stephan,
live came into my way. So I haven't had time to try it yet.
I guess I will go the Amazon AWS way.
