I have a Ubuntu server running Railo using the Viviotech installer working fine ...

if the network cable is plugged in
But get error messages in mod_jk.log
worker ajp13 can't resolve tomcat address localhost

/etc/hosts has and entry for localhost and can be pinged

Anyone know what needs to be done here?

This may or may not be something to try:
I was having an IP V6 issue on a new Ubuntu vm last week.  It was causing MySQL to fail in my case.  Commenting out the ipv6 loopback line in /etc/hosts (which was not being used) seems to have resolved it for me.

Thanks Ryan - that may well have done the trick.

But then again, I also just did a Ubuntu update and a lot of stuff come down.
