Hello Guys,

I've taken the plunge of building a new development VM running Railo, TomCat & Apache.

It seems that Railo is up and running (from a WAR) on the tomcat instance, I can view the welcome page on http://localhost:8080/railo/

I've then configured apache to connect to TomCat using the Apache/TomCat Connector, and setup a virtual host which looks something like this: http://pastebin.com/Un23iiki

I've also setup a host in the TomCat server which looks like this: http://pastebin.com/amJBsZjt

However, when browsing to this site, I'm getting nothing but a blank white page. If I stop the TomCat instance then I get a Service Temporarily Unavailable message, which would perhaps suggest the problem is with my TomCat setup?

Can anyone offer any advice on this?

Thanks,

Robert

You seem to have the same issues as I am having.

Are using IIS along Apache ?

Regards Anthony

This is all I have for my config:
<Host name="testbed" appBase="webapps" unpackWARs="true" autoDeploy="true" xmlValidation="false" xmlNamespaceAware="false">>
<Context path="" docBase="C:/Dev/web/testbed/www" />
</Host>

That's the bare bones of what is necessary.

If you need to move the war file outside of the Tomcat root, I have notes here:

Thank Todd,

I've tried using your config, but with my file path in it.

When browsing to the site I get a 404 saying it's unable to find resource (/)

If I goto {address}/index.cfm it displays the contents of my index.cfm file into the screen, rather than processing it.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Did you use Jordan's installer or do you install it manually?

Regards

Everything I do is manual. I don't use the installer atm.
