Implementing roles-based authentication system

We are working on Implementing a roles-based authentication system for
Railfrog. Would you suggest using acl_system plugin for protecting
controller actions using roles?

Hi KanYe,

I hope you made some progress with this while I was away? An RBAC
system like http://github.com/svenfuchs/rbac or http://github.com/NoamB/acts_as_permissible
might also be worth checking out -- not used them though.

Wikipedia has a good RBAC / ACL comparison (at least, unless someone
deletes it as being "non-encyclopaedic content"...)
