We strongly recommend that you backup your installation file to some form of removable media. Without a backup of the file, you will be unable to re-install BibleWorks on your computer or on a new computer and will be charged a replacement download/media fee.

If you are attempting to install or re-install on another computer, you need to copy the installer file to the new computer. Depending on what is available, you can use a USB thumb drive or other portable storage device, or even your network to copy the module installer file to the new computer.

After downloading the .ISO image file, please follow these instructions to install the program. Users running Windows 8, Windows 10, or OS X/macOS should folow the instructions above. These instructions below only apply to Windows XP/Vista/7.

If you purchased the download version of BibleWorks 10, we've developed a much easier way to download and install the program. If you're running Windows and you'd like to try a beta-version of the BibleWorks 10 downloader, follow the steps below to try the new downloader.

We've developed a simple way to download BibleWorks 10. Right now, this is a beta program and is only recommended for Windows users. The installation file set is very large (17.6 GB) and depending on the speed of your connection, may take many hours, or over a day, to complete. You must have a fast, stable connection for the download to work.

After the Downloader finished downloading the installation file set, we strongly recommend that you backup your installation files to some form of removable media. Without a backup of the installation files, you will be unable to re-install BibleWorks on your computer or on a new computer and will be charged a replacement download/media fee.

Bible versions have been added to BibleWorks that require the installation of language support under Windows XP as well as the addition of the Arial Unicode MS font. (These elements are already built into later versions of Windows. For the Van Dyke Arabic Bible, support for right-to-left script is needed. For the Korean and Chinese Bible versions, both support for right-to-left script and for East Asian languages will be required. Please note that the KOR, Korean version does not work in BibleWorks 7 when installed under Windows 10.

BibleWorks 7 Users: Note also that the latest version of the BibleWorks executable should be applied. If BibleWorks has just been installed to the computer, and the version of the BibleWorks executable showing in HELP > ABOUT BIBLEWORKS is 7.0.012g, then these language Bibles will not appear in the list as available versions. Perform a check for updates from within the BibleWorks program. (HELP > BIBLEWORKS ON THE INTERNET > CHECK FOR UPDATES) Find and apply the latest BibleWorks executable in the list.

To install the language support, take the following steps.

Installing BibleWorks on the Mac does not automatically install these fonts in the Mac operating system. BibleWorks is able to use them in the program, but if you wish your exported text to appear these fonts follow the steps below.

5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for at least the bwhebb.ttf, SBL_grk.ttf, SBL_Hbrw.ttf fonts in that folder. Other .ttf fonts in the BibleWorks 10 folder may be installed in this fashion. For example, if you will be exporting Russian text, install the bwcyrl.ttf as well.

When the fonts are installed to your Mac OS, the Greek and Hebrew text you export from BibleWorks to another program in macOS should display in the font you are set to use in your Tools Options General Fonts Export Fonts setting.

Word Perfect 6.1 or greater - If you wish to use BibleWorks with Word Perfect for Windows, we strongly suggest that you upgrade to version 6.1 or greater. The RTF transfer problem has been fixed in Word Perfect 6.1 for Greek text. However, it still does not recognize Hebrew text correctly. Oddly enough, changing the name of the font (inside the font) to another name seems to fix most of the problem. However, in deference to the many users with documents using the old name, we did not want to make the change a permanent one. Instead, we are shipping a different font, called HEBREW.TTF, with BibleWorks 3.5 which works well with Word Perfect. To use it you will have to install the font manually (see your Windows manual) and then in your BibleWorks Setup Dialog, change the BWHEBB font names to HEBREW.

Due to a problem with the memory management utility on the BibleWorks 9 installation DVD, BibleWorks 9 will not successfully install in Crossover Office Pro on 64 bit Fedora 15 Linux. I am not sure about other distributions or 32 bit Linux since I only have the 64 bit version installed.

I hit cancel since hitting ok did not do anything except go back to the same message. The message came back up. Then I hit cancel again, and the installation appeared to have completed. However, when I attempt to launch the program, the same error message appears.

I have gone through a similar process on my Ubuntu 11.04 (64-bit) installation, and it works. During the install from the DVD, I found that I could not respond to the dialog for Disc2 because my system had mounted the first DVD as BW9DVD1 and the second one mounts as BW9DVD2. However, by making a symbolic link from the name BW9DVD1 to the mounted BW9DVD2, I was able to proceed. If you have this problem you may do this by opening a terminal window entered this:

As for the menu bar, this has been a long-standing issue. Some time back, it was recommended to install Internet Explorer 6, but other posts suggested that this did not fix it. The IE6 requirement was so that the program installer could safely assume Internet access for getting updates. Neither BW8 nor BW9 require it as the cxoffice bottles appear to have sufficient Internet access to satisfy the installer. I have yet to find a solution to the missing buttons. I had hoped that BW9 would have addressed this issue, but it remains.

I tried BW9 on Ubuntu 11.04 64 bits. The installer's window was so small that only a bit of the titlebar could be seen. I failed to enlarge it. Thus the installation on Ubuntu didn't work. What worked though is to run a virtual machine with Windows on Linux. That's the only way for me to access the updated resources in BW9.

I hope it works this time. Since the netbook I was installing on did not have an optical drive, I copied the contents of the first DVD in full to a folder on my desktop system, then added in the data3 and data4 cab files from the 2nd and 3rd DVDs, then used FileZilla to transfer them over to my netbook and installed from there (a USB stick large enough to hold all files would have worked just as well and been quicker).

I am running OS X Mountain Lion. I have installed BibleWorks 9 and followed the instructions to include replacing the bw900.exe with the new file. Still getting the Smart Heap License error. Is anyone else having this program with Mountain Lion?

Please can anybody help me.. I have Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit, and when I mount first disc 1 everything is okay, and then starts to install and shows a message "Please place the DVD labeled Disc 2" Don't know what to do.... Help:(

One cannot modify or repair a BibleWorks 10 Revision 1 installation using Revision 2 or later media. Instead, one should uninstall the Revision 1 installation (using the instructions here), insert the Revision 2 or later media, and select "install/reconfigure." A reinstallation will take place, but settings from the prior installation will be maintained.

To add Revision 4 resources, such as the 28th edition of the Nestle-Aland Greek New Testament, the 1984 Luther Bibel or the 5th Edition of the Latin Vulgate from the German Bible Society, it will not be necessary to uninstall and reinstall the program, but the following steps are required:.

The new M1 MacBook Pro showed up and I unboxed it and starting setting things up. Soon I was installing my Bible study programs. I use three Bible apps but for this test, I installed five of the best Mac Bible study programs you can buy today.

As you can see from the video above showing the installation and indexing process, it took 3 hours and 47 minutes to install, download my 27GB library, and index the library. The download seemed faster than normal. Then indexing went quickly.

2. I even have experienced often a slow download, especially in the same case as yours, when I fully reinstall Accordance. Then often it stops with the #9 error. I install then what is downloaded and run the Easy Install again.

My issue: I have installed BibleWorks 10 through Wine and it is working fine except for the (Hebrew and Greek) audio not playing. I have browsed the issue over the internet and the problem seems to be related to PulseAudio and the solution seems to be to bypass PulseAudio and use ALSA directly. I believe I have confirmed this, because BibleWorks 10 works perfectly in Linux Mint (19.3 and 20), including the audio functionalities. Linux Mint uses ALSA. I was running LM 19.3 before turning to EOS, and am multibooting with LM 20 and Artix Linux just for the purpose of testing BW10. Artix fails BW10, too, and it also has PulseAudio by default.

You can purchase and download licensed Bibles, or download free public domain Bibles, without ever leaving ProPresenter. You can also purchase Bibles from the Renewed Vision store, but you don't need to download anything to install them in ProPresenter.
