even with low latency, interaction with viewers is still has a low reaction time. Many streaming services, like YouTube Live, have ultra low latency that allows only 1 second difference between real time and stream. this will help lots of people who want a more real time interaction with viewers. Ultra low latency usually disables 4K and 120hz
Allow all creators to remove all delays including the auto 6 second "stream-snipe" delay. There are instances where getting stream sniped are impossible ie: single player campaign modes and words on stream etc. As a creator myself I'm not worried about getting stream sniped. I'd rather the community and I experience all components of content at the same time. (I have OBS set to 0.5 second delay) I feel like I'm always one step ahead of the community and I really want us experiencing things at the same time.
I've been in a few different channels and often when I see the notification that a poll is going live or a vote is happening, I only have a few seconds left to make my choice. This wouldn't be an issue if I hadn't also noticed that sometimes the timer ends early; I.E. I've noticed that on multiple occasions the poll would "close" with 5 seconds remaining on the clock. As this was during a stream with over 1k people in chat, I highly doubt that the mods closed it early.
Hopefully there's a way that latency or the delay between streamer and chat could be reduced or a more transparent way to alert the user of the ACTUAL time remaining, and not a rough guess that closes before the user has a chance to make their decision.
