I've just created my first DVD using Express Burn, by selecting Video DVD, clicking Add File, adding a menu and then clicking Burn Video to DVD. The resulting DVD plays okay on my PC's DVD ROM drive, but not on my DVD Player (i.e. not on my standalone DVD player that is attached to my television.) DVDs written with other DVD burning software do play fine on my DVD player. Any idea what could be going wrong?

I have just bought Express Burn. The burnt DVD can be played on my PC, but also on my stand alone Bluray device, but not on my normal DVD. The normal DVD just shows the menu of the disc, but when I try to play a video it just stops. The DVD is burnt as a normal DVD (not Bluray). I have wasted some DVDs testing different options as DVD-R and DVD+R, slow burning speed and fast burning speed. I have also burnt DVDs with MPEG4 files as input but also with MPEG2 as input. Nothing works. My normal DVD is about 10 years old, but it has no problems playing commercial DVDs, old as well as new.

Over the weekend all my CD/DVD drives disappeared from the burning dialog in WL 8.5.3 and 9.0 so now the only option is DDP. Ideas? WL 6 works fine and I can burn CDs and all the drives show up. All the drives show up just fine in the device manager. I removed Quicktime as instructed on the WWW.

DVD burning, CD burning, CD writing, DVD writing, CD recording, DVD recording, CD ripping, DVD ripping, DVD editing, CD editing and storing multimedia software for the consumer and professional, burn CDs, burn DVDs

Just FYI: Shepmaster's tutorial for ripping a DVD in OS X. It looks horrifically complicated. Here's the tools you'll need. Anyone know of a tutorial for burning DVDs, downloaded from say, um, er, Bittorrent?

Or you can also choose to right-click on the .iso file and Mount the .iso image virtually in Windows that that have that feature enabled to access the installers without burning it onto a DVD. Please look online on how to do this.

You can also start the software using the bootable CD/DVD that is deliveredas a part of your system or a bootable CD/DVD that you havecreated. You can download the ISO image from the Oracle download center. Toburn the ISO image to the CD/DVD, you can use any CD/DVD burningdevice and software.
