Discontinuation of Services by Matrix

Hi all,

Yesterday received a letter from Matrix stating that they have decided to discontinue the CAM services wef 1st Aug-14. They have also send a statement for full and final settlement wherein they have calculated the maintenance invoices @ Rs 2.75 / sqft. 

My question to adhoc committee members and others :

1. Have we agreed for the discontinuation of CAM services from Matrix? If so what's the alternative arrangement ? 

2. At what rate are we supposed to clear the final dues? So far I've been paying at the rate of Rs 1.5 per sqft as was discussed in this forum. 

3. What's the plan for forming condominium or Society? There was a mail shared by adhoc committee dated 13th March-14, wherein they had suggested that they will work with legal team and take the guidance for proceeding further. Post this mail, we are yet to hear any further develpments inspite of reminders. 

Would be grateful for clarifications on the above points.

Mr Navneet Surana has raised some important questions which require urgent actions,since we must clear our dues with Matrix.

At what rate does the Adhoc committee advice us to pay up on the monthly installments?

Dear All

If there are any who defaulted to pay even the reduced rates (I guess Rs. 1.50 per sq. ft. or whatever was advised) should pay up immediately and avoid inconvenience to the occupants!

Either way now there is a need to meet and decide on way forward

Thats fine.We shall clear our dues. But at Rs 1.50 /sq ft,or at Rs 2.75/sq ft,as asked by Matrix vide their letter??

That is precisely the issue yet to be resolved and the reason for this situation!

I understand most of us has been paying at the rate of Rs 1.5 /- which was agreed more then a year back. Atleast we have been regularly paying at this rate till something else gets decided. Request all , who have not yet paid , to pay at the rate of Rs 1.5/- and clear out standing dues. Outstanding dues are quite high and hence the service provider seems to discontinue the services. At the end it will inconvenience the residents only.
