Its been almost a month now that I have registered complaint regarding the leakage in my flat. Even after frequent follow-ups nothing fruitful has been actioned from Raheja. The problem is shear due to poor workmanship and lack of proper supervision.


I want permanent solution to resolve this issue. Putting white cement in the tiles is not at all a solution.


The steps should be as below to resolve this problem permanently: (Which should have been done during the construction phase):
  • Removal of complete bathroom flooring tiles upto the slab level.
  • Laying of waterproofing layer
  • Testing the floor by filling with water and retaining for 24 hours
  • Re-instating the tiles after ensuring the integrity of the waterproofing
  • This needs to be done for all the three bathroom

Please consider this email as a  step prior to legal notice. Hope K. Raheja will not let me down

Dear Mr. Mathur / Mr. Datar,

Please be informed that during my recent visit (on 10th Jan 2014) to my flat B-202, I have noticed major leakages from the flat above. These were not observed during the possession time as the flat above was not occupied and hence was not informed to you before. It seems that the above flat was occupied recently and hence these things have surfaced now. We are very much concerned about the quality of the construction supervision when such things are coming up and was never expected from a reputed Builder like K. Rahejas.


I am going to shift my family soon. Before that kindly arrange to carry out the necessary repairs as soon as possible. My flat key was handed over to Vinayak / Ganesh of Matrix for checking and carrying out the work.


Attached are the photographs for your information and necessary action at the earliest.


Please ensure that the work is carried out under proper supervision to be effective and inform once the leakage is positively stopped.

                      I had lodge complaint 8 month back  about the leakages till today no one has come to B-103 for work need to be done, As in December2013/January 2014 I was under medical treatment waited for your people only received false promises we are arranging the people no progress for the work need to be done, Unfortunately I have to leave the place for the treatment.
