Made it home, shoveled the snow and slept it off.  Thanks everyone for a great experience.  There must be something about crazy runners that sorts out the good folks from everyone else because each team I have been on has been a group of people who become good friends.  I hope I fit that mold and that everyone had the same kind of memorable experience as I did.  Maybe we can do it again sometime.  Even though my Wasatch Back team is in place for this year if anyone would be interested in 2014, please let me know and I'll reach out when registration comes up.

Now that I'm somewhere close to back to normal here's the summary for van 1:
Van cost - $ 341.52
Insurance as requested - $ 111.60
Gas - $ 85.77

Total - $ 538.89

Per runner - $ 89.  I guess auto rental companies have it figured out.  My overall rate was lower than Keith's but the insurance was higher.  Hopefully the totals came out close.  Please send to

Carl - Did you ever get things figured out with Quality Inn?  They did hit my Visa for $ 82.10 so if you had already paid, one of us needs to pursue a refund.  Just let me know what the next step is since the check in guy was a little confused.

Again - thanks to everyone - Krista for putting this together, everyone for the companionship, and for enduring to the joyful end.  I kept forgetting to take my camera to the exchanges but most of ours were at night anyway.  When I get my film developed (yes film - I still use a 35mm camera) I'll email copies.

Jay and I came home and slept for like 12 hours. We had a great time with our van this year and would definitely run with you guys again.  I'll send you the the money for the van. Thanks for getting it. I hope u run with you again sometime.

Well my wife and I made it home alright.

I had a great time running with you all.  It was a pleasure getting to know my van 1 running mates and sharing in this wonderful race experience. Sorry I couldn't hang around after the race. I ending up sleeping most of the way back to my Dad's in Prescott (a couple of hour drive) and then that night I still slept over 10 hours. I am still trying to catch up on my sleep :)

I did see the doctor and he said my shoulder was simply a tendon/ligament enflamation. So he gave me a cortoslne shot and I should be good as new in a couple of weeks.

Krista, Carl, Doug (and any one else who helped) thank you for a great team and all the planning.  And thank you for having me on your team. I had a great time.

Doug I have the check written for the van and will have it in the mail tomorrow.

Again thank you everyone for a great Ragnar experience.
