Get rich quick! Make a million dollars overnight! Who would like —rather, who wouldn’t like — to become a millionaire? I’m no expert on the subject of making money. I am convinced that there are no shortcuts to become a millionaire; but my interaction with people has taught me that making millions quickly cannot always give you a sense of prosperity, abundance and well-being.
Easy come, easy go — says the proverb. Money earned through ‘shortcuts’ may also disappear through shortcuts. Honesty, hard work, integrity, discipline, dedication and God’s grace — when these virtues go into creating wealth, then that wealth is truly earned; it will last with you; it will bring benefits and blessings upon you and the good causes you spend it on.… Is this not true abundance? Is this not true prosperity?
Prosperity is a sense of contentment; a sense that there is abundance in my life; a sense that we have enough to share with others. Abundance, contentment, generosity. Being fulfilled and being able to share your fulfilment with others — that is true prosperity. Mere wealth, mere money only creates anxiety; true prosperity creates a sense of abundance and fulfilment
May you find true fulfilment, abundance and prosperity. May you learn the great gift of caring and sharing. May God’s grace be with you so that your wealth may multiply through giving with love.
