Minutes of EC Meeting on 14/02/2021
1. EC meeting for February, 2021 , was conducted through ‘Zoom Meet’ on virtual basis, attended by the following EC members:
2. Mr. Selvakumar, Mr. Gopalan/Rukmani, Mr. Tothadhri, Mr. Sreenivas, Mr. Prabhu, Mr.K. Thirugnanam, Mr.Nathaneal, Mr. Sankaran Nagalakshmi and Mr.R.Kannan.
3. Secretary welcomed the EC members.
4. Mr.Sreenivas, Treasurer sought comments on Receipts/Payments related to January and February’2021, (till date) and clarified few observations raised by Mr.Nathaneal and Mr.Prabhu.
5. Utility/continuance of Swimming Pool was raised. Cleaning and continuation of keeping the Pool operational was suggested and the meeting agreed for Monthly Maintenance of the pool by Mr.Elumalai, involving all in cost of Rs.6000/, to be supported by a written contract for 1 to 2 years.
6. Mr. Selvakumar suggested, to call M/s. Green Earth, previously maintaining our STP, urgently, to discuss in detail regarding revamping the existing infrastructure and simultaneously take up analyzing suitability of alternate Bio cleaning methods, as well. On 16/02/2021, an alternate vendor M/s. Ecotech was invited to discuss a more eco friendly STP project. Developments will be kept apprised to members.
7. Bunding of sump mouths, it was suggested that We may seek help from Almelu’s brother, owner of ongoing construction near Eastern Entrance, to use his existing infrastructure to complete it. If he is not coming forward, we may have to scout alternate sources.
9. Immediate cleaning of sumps/Overhead tanks was discussed considering water quality in sumps being very dirty. The same vendors who did the cleaning of sumps/OH tanks satisfactorily could be entrusted the job. All likelihood, to be carried out during March, beginning.
10. Mr.Prabhu suggested to take up with the owner of ongoing construction at Eastern entrance, to clean up debris, whitewash, decolored compound wall, caused due to construction and also request him to streamline electric cabling going to hutments at the back of the land passing through our compound wall.
11. Cleaning of compounded space abutting western gate and ensuring regular maintenance was discussed and to be implemented soon. Day time security Mr.Ravichandran, has agreed to clean the debris slowly whenever free, simultaneously managing the western gate
12. EC permitted to close an inoperative account with balance around Rs.11800 with Canara Bank and transfer amount to our operative account with KVB.
13. Linga, electrician is to be called, to correct and channel fresh power cable if necessary, from western power room to Presidya and also to channelize wiring on one or 2 lamp posts visible externally.
14. Secretary extended thanks to the members and the meeting concluded after 1hr 20 minutes from commencement.
