There's a plug in I use at home that works well but is slightly finicky. It doesn't do the actual programming, but more of an aid to eliminate the shortcuts. Essentially, any function that you can run using shortcut commands you can run using this plug in. To get a list of the available functions go to this MSDN article.

It's ThirdHand at codeplex.com and as far as I can tell it only works on VS 2008 since it uses .Net 3.5. Make sure to read my post on in the discussion board on how to reset it if there are any problems.

Take a look at Microsoft Speech SDK, as well as Visual Studio Integration. There are a BUNCH of tutorials (just google) on both, and in VS2008 there's even templated Integration projects out of the box...

I code by voice in Visual Studio and SQL Server Management Studio using Dragon NaturallySpeaking Professional. I've been doing this for years, and played around with creating my own add-ins for Visual Studio. They harvest my class and variable names and help me build my custom programming vocabularies. Unfortunately, saying "fix bug" would simply dictate that text, but I can write code and control the IDE pretty well.

If you have Dragon NaturallySpeaking Professional Version you could probably make use of some of the following scripts which I have created using Visual Basic Advanced Scripting for Dragon NaturallySpeaking.

Text-to-Speech generates audio data of natural, human-like speech. That is, it creates audio that sounds like a person talking. Whenyou send a synthesis request to Text-to-Speech, you mustspecify a voice.

There are a wide selection of voices available for you to pick from inText-to-Speech. The voices differ by language, gender, and accent(for some languages). Some languages have multiple voices to choose from. Seethe Supported Voices page for a complete listof voices available in your language. You can tell Text-to-Speech touse a specific voice from this list by setting theVoiceSelectionParamsfields when you send a request to the API. See the Text-to-SpeechQuickstarts for details on how to send asynthesize request.

This product or feature is subject to the "Pre-GA Offerings Terms" in the General Service Terms section of the Service Specific Terms. Pre-GA products and features are available "as is" and might have limited support. For more information, see the launch stage descriptions.

Journey voices, based on AudioLM, are spontaneous conversational voices. Reviewthe succeeding examples to learn how they can be used. To find out whichlanguages they're available in, check the table of supported voices.

Casual voices were designed to manage a conversational, imperfect dialogue fornaturalness and comfort with human users. They support disfluencies (oh, uh, um,mhm) and have a more natural cadence and tone.

The Text-to-Speech API provides a voice tier called Neural2. Neural2voices are based on the same technology used to create aCustom Voice. Neural2 allows anyone to use Custom Voice technologywithout training their own custom voice. They're available in global and singleregion endpoints.

The Text-to-Speech API also offers a group of premium voices generated using aWaveNet model, the same technology used to produce speech forGoogle Assistant, Google Search, and Google Translate. WaveNettechnology provides more than just a seriesof synthetic voices: it represents a new way of creating synthetic speech.

Figure 1. Chart showing comparison of WaveNet to other synthetic voices, humanspeech. The y-axis values represent the Mean Opinion Score (MOS) for each voice.Test subjects ranked each voice on a scale of 1-5 according to how much itsounded like natural speech. For more information on MOS scores and WaveNettechnology, see the DeepMind WaveNetpage.

Unlike most other text-to-speech systems, a WaveNet model creates raw audiowaveforms from scratch. The model uses a neural network that has beentrained using a large volume of speech samples. During training, the networkextracts the underlying structure of the speech, such as which tonesfollow each other and what a realistic speech waveform looks like. Whengiven a text input, the trained WaveNet model can generatethe corresponding speech waveforms from scratch, one sample at a time, withup to 24,000 samples per second and seamless transitions between the individualsounds.

The voices offered by Text-to-Speech differ in how theyare produced, the synthetic speech technology used to create the machine modelof the voice. One common speech technology, parametric text-to-speech,typically generates audio data by passing outputs through signal processingalgorithms known as vocoders. Many of the standard voices available in Text-to-Speech use avariation of this technology.

Not only can copilots created in Microsoft Copilot Studio be used in text based scenarios such as SMS and chat conversations with customers, but they can also be used as interactive voice response (IVR). This module explores how to set up a Microsoft Copilot Studio copilot to use voice.

Founded by Hilerie Klein Rensi in 2011, Higher Voice Studio has quickly become the most sought-after music school in the regional Pittsburgh Area. I like that for other basic and pro pricing packages you have a wealth of options, which you don't usually get within these amounts. My favorite option is the copy/paste feature of text and the separation of it into paragraph and/or sentences and that you can download as a single or as multiple files. This makes the workflow smoother when developing multiple videos or animations.

Murf.ai streamlines the content creation workflow and reduces time/cost for e-learning developers. Many of the computer-generated voices are very realistic, and my organizational training clients are typically very happy with the results. It generates realistic narrations, along with scripts and subtitles in all popular formats.

I recently tried murf.ai and I have to say I am thoroughly impressed. The quality of the generated voice is exceptional and very realistic, which is important for my business needs. The platform is user-friendly and easy to navigate, and the range of voices available is impressive. I was also pleased with the prompt and helpful customer support I received when I had questions. Overall, I highly recommend murf.ai to anyone looking for a high-quality and reliable text-to-speech generator. Keep up the great work!

We've been using Murf for our content production for a while now, and I can say Murf is the best TTS software out there -yes I've tried most of them single-handedly. Our favourite voice avatar is named AVA, She sounds just like your girlfriend next door! And you don't even have to get the PRO plan to get her voice!
