does anyone know of any tutorials or can explain how i can route my guitar signal a n d mic through my interface, have the guitar go through an amp sim but have my mic nit go through the amp sim and into zoom or skype? i need this for my online classes and lessons.
1 The Skype for Business (Lync) client is supported for use with these subscription options, but it is not included. Lync 2013 Basic is available for all customers. The Lync Basic desktop client is a locally installed application that provides presence, instant messaging and conferencing features for plans that include Skype for Business Online. Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise, and Office 365 E3 include the full Skype for Business (Lync) application, which include additional features including advanced telephony support, archiving & compliance features. 2 A Skype for Business Online Plan 1 user may participate in a sharing session if the user is invited by a Skype for Business Online Plan 2 user.
3 Archiving for Skype for Business Online depends on the Exchange In-Place Hold feature, which is not included in this plan.
4 Tenants with a standalone Skype for Business Online plan can access reporting features if the tenant also has at least one active Exchange license, such as Exchange Online Plan 1 or Exchange Online Plan 2.
5 Not supported if Exchange Online was purchased as part of a kiosk plan.
Not sure if this is expected behavior, but when I use the Office Deployment tool to download just Skype so I can install the client standalone (without the Office apps), it still downloads the entire C2R installer for Office 2016. Is there a way to only get Skype?

Hi All..this Portable skype is great but I have issues with sound. It always connect to sound to other device then required.. for example its ringing on headhones and once Picked uP it switch the audio on computer sPeaker. Any idea? Thank you.

If you want to install skype on a device with no internet, you first need to move the Skype Offline Installers to the system you want to install. You can use any device to download the Skype Offline Installer. Once downloaded, move the installation files to another system via a USB drive.
Second question is i don't have office 365, i only have office 2019 open license. And also don't have skype for business server. It is i purchase the correct license if i want to use skype for business standalone without office 365 and skype for business server?
unfortunately it is not possible to use Skype for Business Client standalone without an server. You will still need an Microsoft 365 license with Skype for Business online or a Skype for Business Server deployment.
Get a Skype for Business standalone plan, or get it as part of our Office 365 plans that include Office, Exchange and SharePoint. Skype for Business Plan 2 expands on the basic plan by including group HD video calling, the ability to schedule meetings in Outlook, recording audio and video in meetings and much more.
Anyone have the registry objects and settings to remove Skype calling, Video and Conferencing? I know there are Powershell scripts and other global management tools to do this but I only want to disable it on a very small number of machines. All with standalone SfB installs. Thanks!
Whats the procedure like for changing a Fortiswitch from a standalone to one that's managed by a Fortigate? I have 3 Fortiswitches in production that are working as expected and would like to have them managed by our Fortigate cluster however I don't want to lose the configurations on any of the switches.
