So my boss saw IP address 192.168.1.56 was an unknown device in SpiceWorks and wants me to find out what device it belongs to. After pouring over countless spreadsheets with information pertaining to IP addresses for switches, routers, hubs, etc.. I have come up with nothing (Thanks in part to the IP field by some items reading as "n/a")
Use arp -a 192.168.1.56 from a command line to get the device MAC address. Look up the assigned owner of the MAC range Opens a new window here. That's a good shot at the manufacturer of the NIC chip, anyway, and might narrow it down to network devices or something else.
VS Code 1.56 updates the majority of webviews to use normal elements instead of Electron's tag. This lets you use VS Code's standard, top-level developer tools ( which can be opened with the Developer: Toggle developer tools command) to debug and inspect your webviews:
In VS Code 1.56, Webviews that enable search (with .enableFindWidget) are still implemented using a tag, so you must still use the Developer: Open webview developer tools command to debug and inspect them.

I reached out to Nest support chat late Christmas eve.. not expecting anyone to be available. My intent was to have the rep push an update from 1.54.277099 to 1.56.264660. Surprisingly, I got an almost immediate response.
I'm curious why support documentation shows production firmware for Nest Mini is 1.54.250118, preview firmware is 1.56.264660, and my Minis came with 1.54.277099. Seems like I'd likely be better off with production or preview. I wish a change log was available.
I'm happy to hear that your minis are working reliably now. Could you please post the firmware version that you are running? I'm still stuck on v1.54.277099 and waiting for v1.56.264660, which I believe will resolve multiple problems in addition to this one. Thanks!
''When we talk about the modernization of the triad, what we leave out is the 'or else.' And the other choice that we have is not to keep what we have. The entire triad is reaching the end of its useful life,'' Admiral Charles Richard, commander of United States Strategic Command testified. Richard appeared yesterday before the House Armed Services Committee's strategic forces subcommittee. ''So, either we replace what we have now, or we start to divest, almost on a path to disarmament, in the face of this growing threat.''
