With iphone 6s using ios v.10.3.3 and garageband on the phone. (I don't know what version of gb i have because i cannot find out. This information is not found under Setttings, anywhere. There is NO information anywhere in Settings for gb on my phone. It does not appear in the space where other apps appear in the Settings menu.)

I have created a few songs in gb and wanted to export one as a ringtone. When I select the song and use Select>Export>Ringtone, i get a pop-up saying Song cannot be exported: A song can only be exported if...blah blah blah.

It says you must use the gb instruments or live loops to create a song. ALL of my songs have been made this way! There is no imported copyright protected material in my songs, but all of them, no matter how long (one is only ring-tone length), are treated the same way.

This particular song has only one cymbal crash and one recorded voice using iphone's memo recorder. it's just ten seconds. but i have other songs with several gb instruments playing etc and those get the same error message. thanks anyway... i will try syncing with my macbook but WHAT A PAIN and f-you apple!

I upgraded to the latest ios and the problem persists for all songs in gb. So I guess this is just an ERROR in Apple's program. I managed to work around this using the WALTR app. I plugged my phone into my macbook, opened logic pro and created a ringtone not longer than 40 seconds, exported it to itunes, found the file in Finder and changed the file extension to M4r for ringtones, and dragged the renamed file into the WALTR app and it went straight into the iphone's ringtone menu.

I created songs on my iPad with GarageBand and save them to iCloud. When I try to open one of the songs on my iPhone it said, "Missing Sound - This song is missing sound pack(s) that were originally downloaded from the GarageBand Sound Library. You will need to manually download each missing item to make this song complete." The only response options are Sound Library, and Cancel.

Going into the Sound Library from here doesn't highlight anything or show me what I might be missing. Similarly, I can't go ahead and open the specific song anyway to discover which tracks might be missing their associated sound libraries.

I have the same issue as described here but the difference is that I only use one device iPad. And the project I was working on suddenly stopped working. The problem occured with one percussion track that started to sound weird. So I cloosed the project and when I wanted to open it again I see Missing Sound - This song is missing aound pack(s)... Downloaded all possible sound packs but it didn't help. This problem relatws only to this one project. All other projects works fine. Any ideas what could go wrong?
