RadioDNS Standards progress to ETSI - Update

Hello,

At the WorldDMB Technical Committee meeting yesterday, it was agreed in principle to accept the proposed changes to TS 101 499 and TS 102 818 to merge in the functionality from RadioVIS and RadioEPG respectively.

There will be some editorial work to improve clarity and resolve a few small issues, and this is expected to completed by end of June.

Next Steps

• The WorldDMB Steering Board will be asked to ratify these changes at their meeting on 4th June
  
• The RadioDNS Steering Board will be asked to ratify these changes at their meeting on 5th June
  
• The documents, along with them RadioDNS Lookup Standard, will be presented to ETSI for review and publication.
  

Assuming the work progresses as expected, we can expect these standards to be published around Q3 this year (Sept-Nov).
