My radiosonde_auto_rx v1.5.10 is started in a bash script with the call, sudo python3 auto_rx.py and everything works perfectly, but stopping auto_rx.py from the script does not work via, sudo killall rtl_power or sudo killall rtl_fm or sudo killall timeout.
Is there a way to stop it correctly?
I don't want to upgrade to the Docker version.
I appreciate any tips, hugs.

auto_rx v1.5.10 is now over a year and a half old, and there have been many improvements and bugfixes since then.
You don't *have* to use docker, but it is the recommended way to run auto_rx now as it handles all the dependency annoyances neatly.

I highly highly recommend you update to the latest version and try again....

Marco,

I second the suggestion to upgrade!

There is a great wiki with all the info you need: https://github.com/projecthorus/radiosonde_auto_rx/wiki

I have not fully embarrassed Docker yet and did a manual install myself. But if the Docker version runs like a manual install, the commend to stop the service is this:
sudo systemctl stop auto_rx.service

You can also use the commands "start" and "restart"
