Good morning,

First I like to thank you again for releasing radio_sonde_auto_rx 1.8.2, this version shows a huge improvement compared to version 1.8.1 (RS41 and iMet 1/4). However, I noticed that the Scan Plot still does not show the noise level when using the scan_only setting. It only shows the green threshold line.
This makes it very difficult to make improvements to my receiver setup.
Would it be possible to add this as a feature request to verstion 1.8.3 ???

Hi Bert,

The point of the only_scan section is to indicate that you only ever want to scan for radiosonde on the specified frequencies. If you already know the frequencies, then there's no point running a spectrum scan to just ignore it.

If you still want a scan plot, then use the 'always_scan' list.

Hi Mark,

Thanks for your quick response. I agree that showing the spectrum under 'ideal' circumstances can be omitted, however not seeing the spectrum makes it impossible to explain why, for example, receiving sondes on 402.3 MHz is more difficult than receiving sondes on 405.3 MHz
I like to see if the spectrum shows what may causing this difference.
