Today, an M20 radiosonde with an unusual ID number was flying https://sondehub.org/#!mt=Mapnik&mz=10&qm=6h&mc=50.26389,22.27547&f=206-13-01049&box=aboutbox . Only one SKYMAX station decoded the signal. In this region, more stations typically decode radiosonde signals. Do the M20s in this series have the new firmware?

That SKYMAX station is reporting an auto_rx version of 1.8.3, which doesn't exist yet. Even the testing branch is still still on 1.8.2.

So, my worry is that they are running a modified version of auto_rx which is decoding incorrectly.

Unfortunately I dont have any contact details for this station, so I can't find out what is really going on here..

If stations are experimenting with forks or modifications of auto_rx, it's important that they add a suffix to the version number so that it's clear what they are doing.
