I used to use the App Passwords feature of Gmail, it randomly stopped working after November 6th. 

I had this on two machines, both are no longer sending emails. Restarts didn't fix the problem.

When I went back to look for it under Security, wasn't listed. I did find the URL for it: https://myaccount.google.com/apppasswords but my auto_rx was no longer listed. Odd. Did a little bit of googling, found this in one of my results:

"Starting on September 30, 2024, less secure apps, third-party apps, or devices that have you sign in with only your username and password will no longer be supported for Google Workspace accounts. For exact dates, visit Google Workspace Updates E. To continue to use a specific app with your Google Account, you'll need to use a more secure type of access that
doesn't share password data. Learn how to use Sign in with Google."

Can anyone else confirm this as an issue on their end? Is anyone else using a different provider that is okay using this method?

Yep, looks like app passwords are no longer for google workspace accounts.

Still seem to be available for 'normal' google accounts still...

There looks to be a method to send email using oauth2, but it's bit more involved to obtain the required keys, and I'm not sure it's possible for non-workspace users.

Unsure when I'll have the time to be able to implement a solution for this :-(

The email address I created for this specific purpose is using @gmail.com so I think it's been deprecated there as well, unless you're using it and it still works for you.

I don't mind using a different service, I just haven't used anything but Gmail in a long time and I don't know what else I could use. Yahoo Mail?

Oddly enough, emails were working again this morning. This is with a @gmail.com address.

The only initial steps I took from yesterday were recreating the same application again in App Passwords, (for some reason that application from a while back was nuked)

Information only, when you are presented the generated password, there's spaces every 4 letters (I believe it's 16 letters total). Delete the spaces in your station.cfg file.
