Hi,

One more problem is solved. By changing some parameters in VB-Audio Virtual Cable I get now a stable signsl transfer from SDR# to ARGO.

I am running now the Full band window in order tos ee where I get the scatter and then I will chnge in the enxt days to the right side.

I finidhed checking my video from yesterday night to today morning and saw a total of about 160 to 170 meteor scatter in 11 hours.

Are the Orionids the source ?

Hi Rainer,

Looking at the chart I don’t see any ‘pings’ that suggest meteor activity. Do the 3 bars on the tight repeat over timer?

Hi Stan,

Yes that is correct there are no meteor pings in that image but it was quite early in the night.

I just posted that screenshot to show that I do not have those strange lines I had before as posted in an earlier message in the ARGO help post. This was a major problem getting a good steady signal but with the help of a friend who also is an amateur astronomer and student we saw where the problem was. Samplings rate and latency settings in VB-Audio Virtual Cable.

Later in the night I started to see some meteor pings and then switched over to the right bar with ~ 40Hz Bandwidth and as soon as I power on the observatory or better said I power ON myself I will check the captured pings. I did capture images  every 801 seconds after seeing that the screen fills up every 810 seconds.

Yes those 3 bars on the right as well as barely viisible on the left are periodic and come from another signal near my tuned 174 308 440. The meteor pings I have seen are all around 1060 Hz +- 50 Hz.

Thanks and regards Rainer

Hi,

Coming back on this topic here a few screenshots or images of the result and how I chose my center bandwidth.

May I ask from where comes the bandwidth of 40 Hz for the right bar ? I ahve the impression that there are also some hits outside of this bandwidth. Does it have something to do with the beacon frequency ?

About the periodic bars left and right below 3 screenshots. There is a frequency jumping up and down ¿ 1 Hz ? which also has a big change ¿ 30 seconds periodicity ?

Also attached two captures from the session.

What are those Snail trails (rememebered me the trails the snails leave on the floor of my garage)

Also a capture with ¿ 5 ? meteor pings ?

Thanks and regards
Rainer
