Hi Rainer,
If you can send me screen captures of your settings of the receive setup and ARGO, that will help. I’ll send some of mine to guide you after I see where you’re at.
Stan

Hi Rainer,
Not sure what I’m seeing. I’m working on some setup details that may help. Hope to get them to you later today.
Can you describe your setup for me?

Hi Stan,
Another problem I have is that I have sometimes a good signal and sometimes a bad signal but looking at the videos my dB values stay stable.
Thanks and regards Rainer

Hi Rainer,
You may have seen a response from Dennis about changing the mode setting in ARGO. That should help.
I plan to send you some pix of my settings that should guide you.
I see you are trying to receive DTV Channel 8, 180.31 MHz. You have SDR# set to 180.308.000 that would produce a 2 KHz tone/ping. Try setting it to 180.309.000. That should give you about 1 kHz. Also adjust the screen resolution to a higher figure by going to the FFT Display tab. I uses 65536. You’ll get much higher resolution . Using the Zoom slider, adjust it until you get about 20 to 50 kHz of view. Watch the display for a random ping. It will be more obvious with these settings.
I’ll send you some more details later today.

Rainer, consider narrowing the spectrum width of Argo by using QRSS mode 10 as an example. What you have now is that Argo set to too high of spectrum width (~300 - 1600 Hz) to be typically used for meteor return display.Denny
