Hi,

My station is running nicely and a few days ago I installed ARGO in order to see how the saved images look like. They are intersting but one thing that bothers me a bit is the fact that the frequency band width of 42 Hz is a bit narrow. I know I have meteor ecoes in a wider band width
.
It would be nice to be able to adjust a bandwidth in order to accomodate all meteor echoes in the saved images.  This is a nice feature  in Spectrum Lab.

Is there a way to contact the euthor of ARGO ?

Thanks and regards Rainer

Argo is capable of displaying wider bandwidths than this.  Can you elaborate on why you think 42HZ is the max?

Yes, I have searched and searched in the software setting and found nothing ...If you would care to tell me where I do adjust that I would be a happy camper.

My waterfall runs horizontal from right to left and there for getting the most I have centered  2240 Hz and that is what I record. Recording the images of the waterfall running in vertical position makes too many images as far as I have seen unless I ahve the wrong setting there but I like it more running horizontally.

Thanks and regards Rainer

Have you tried setting the QRRS to 3 ? That will increase the spectrum width presented.

Hi Denny,

Thanks. I set it now to QRRS 3 and now I have 170 Hz, but that reduced my capture time from 800 seconds down to 540 seconds which means that instead of writing 108 images a day I write now 160 images a day :-) which will fill up my disc faster :-) :-)

I take the images and make a daily video out of them. Well not a big hiccup. Will start to deleting the older ones.

Again thanks all for your help.

Rainer
