Hello All,

There is an interesting discussion over on the RadioDNS developers group (which should be here, really), regarding bringing Content Type definitions (sometimes also called MIME types) for RadioEPG documents into line with what is considered a standard.

In summary, the following suggestions have been made:

PI Files: application/spi-pi+xml
SI Files: application/spi-si+xml

Extrapolating from these to the always under-appreciated GI File:

GI Files: application/spi-gi+xml

There are lots of good reasons why we'd want to change this, and standardise across all documents. If there are any reasons you can think of why we shouldn't do this, then please reply here.

As always, if there are no sustained objections, this will then form a proposal for a revision from this group to ETSI.

Ben
