Dear Members, Supporters and Users of RadioDNS,

You may remember that some time back we offered to you the draft version of the RadioDNS specification v1.0 and asked for comments and alterations.

I am pleased to say that as a result of all the feedback we received, we are offering you a revised version of the specification attached to this post.

A major area of note is that we have clarified construction of FQDN for DAB/DAB+ and VHF/FM in order to avoid confusion about reference to the ECC which was defined in multiple ways.

Our intention is to have this ratified by the RadioDNS steering board at the General Assembly (GA) next week in Geneva.

Can I please ask you to look over this new document and come back with any additional comments by the end of Friday 10th February 2012. A lack of sustained objection will mean that this document is put forward to the steering board as the new specification.

Hi Everybody,

For the people in Paris attending the show "Le Radio", my company, VizionR, will demonstrate a graphical tool to publish Radio DNS slideshows dynamically. If you are interested, please visit us (near the Radio Studio). We fully implement Radio DNS specification and we can also broadcast the result to other devices.
