RadioDNS - IMPORTANT: Statutes, Trust Model and Second General Assembly

RadioDNS is entering a very important phase in its transition to a
permanent organisation, accountable to and run by its members.
The Second General Assembly is on Tuesday 16th February. At that
meeting, the Statutes Drafting Team will be asking the attendees to
review and vote on the adoption of the Statutes and Trust Model for
RadioDNS. The Statutes are the rules by which the organisation will be
run and the Trust Model controls how radio stations can be included in
RadioDNS. Both are critically important.
ONLY people who attend the Second General Assembly, either in person
or by telephone, may vote.
I would like to ask you to do two things:
* Register to attend the Second General Assembly (either in person or
by telephone) so that you can vote on the Statutes and Trust Model.
You can do that at http://radiodns.org/ga-feb10 .
* Review the proposed Statutes and Trust Model when they are published
next week. (I will send an update e-mail when they are on the
website).
If you don't register, you can't attend, and you can't vote.
Don't forget that RadioDNS members are also invited to take part (for
free) in the EBU's Digital Radio Summit on the 17th February. You can
register separately for that at http://tech.ebu.ch/digitalradio10 ,
quoting your affiliation as "RadioDNS".
