Here a demo of my SDR software for Radioberry, I would like to thank Johan for this project and support. I have build a first version of my sdr software to learn how SDR works and the radioberry is a great tool for that.
I use a radioberry from aliexpress and all is working well, yes the chip is getting hot but that does not seem to influence the operation, I am planning to put some fans on it in the future.
I use a 5 inch LCD screen with touch and use LVGL based GUI (
lvgl.io) which I also use for other projects. I also use an ESP32 with a touch screen and an optical rotary encoder to remotely control the radioberry. Communication is done through Bluetooth BLE.
The main issue I had is that indeed you have to keep the gain low otherwise you quickly over drive the input. But most important is to use a very good power-supply. All standard USB power supplies are more like noise generators and will disturb reception. Best is to use a computer powersupply or even better a linear powersupply.
I have put a short demo on youtube
