Hi Steve,
It is real nice to get it going. The cyclone 10 is able to run 6 rx slices and 1 tx 85% of the resources are used.
Having it running at a RPI, W10 and a old ubuntu machine.
Without the bandscope i was able to run on my w10 laptop 6 rx slices with 384 KHz sampling.
Running ubuntu on the old machine the CPU utilization is the bottleneck...
Iam searching for a SBC or mini PC which is capable of running the slices... what are you using when running the HL-2?
Also the bandscope is working now! Running linhpsdr (nice ui upgrade) or quisk gives a nice band scope view!
To get the amplifier connected i need to add i2c in the FPGA; have some issues with the FT2232 running in 245 sync mode... all resource of the FTDI chip are occupied... so the idea of using the i2c of the FTDI will not work.
Maybe also for your information the radioberry is for sale at aliexpress and amazon.
Learned a lot during the developement.
Have fun
