to Radioberry
While for my PI to arrive I read thoroughly the wiki. Next I remembered a Youtube video I watched many many months ago when I discovered the Radioberry.
I watched it again as it is a detailed installation from A to Z.
The video is Raspberry Pi HF radio - step by step instructions by Techstuff & More.
Imaging the SD card:
The wiki says to use the imager and instal the OS, that's it. On the video he adds that the OS must be the 64-bit Desktop version.
May be the wiki should be updated.
Before using the newly imaged SD card he edits the config.txt and adds a section concerning his screen without any explanation. On the wiki I cannot find anything about that.
The lines added are:
[all]
dmi_force_edid_audio=1
max_usb_current=1
hdmi_force_hotplug=1
config_hdmi_boost=7
hdmi_group=2
hdmi_mode=87
hdmi_drive=2
display_rotate=0
hdmi_cvt 1024 600 60 6 0 0 0
The Raspberry pi documentation has a section regarding this file but if someone could enlighten me about these HDMI settings I would appreciate.

First boot
The system asks if the OS should be updated.
The wiki should mention that the OS should be updated (for users unfamiliar with Linux).

pihpsdr installation:
At some point during the installation a question regarding local CW option is asked and he answers no saying it is recommended to do so. I don't find this recommendation in the wiki and wonder why no would be recommended.
Regarding this option and its name there must be a non local CW option or something like remote CW option.  Can someone tell me more about it.

My last set of questions concerns the screen resolution:
First he changes the resolution in Linux as he finds the screen font too small to read.
Later on he changes pihpsdr to use full screen using https://raw.githubusercontentcom/TechMindsYT/pihpsdrmods/main/pihpsdr_install.
I did not find anything on the wiki. Is this the most recent way to go full screen in pihpsdr.
I intend to use a 9" IPAD screen with HDMI controller (no touch screen) with a resoultion of 2048x1536. If I use this resolution it looks like I would need to look at the screen in text mode using the JWST but it also could be nice to use pihpsdr with this resolution (or may be not).
Any recommendation on the resolution to use (in general, not specific to my screen).
Thanks, Jean-Claude

More confusion on the horizon:
I found this conversation and I am becoming more confused. What it is about?
