Newbie needs help!

Hi guys,

I just got a radioberry, and have matched it with a Pi 4. The install worked (I think) and it shows up in SparkSDR on desktop via network but I only receive noise, both on USB and AM settings. Any idea what settings I have to adjust in SparkSDR, or is it a hardware issue?
I'm worried my antenna might not be working or something...

Hi Bamster,

Just joined myself - different quriosity...

I'd say, step one in your case would be to check your antenna, simply disconnecting it and see/hear if the noise floor drops.
If that is not the case, the issue is further upstream.

In SparkSDR you need to set BPF and LPF filters for your radio. Click on three dots next to X in right upper corner and in menu FILTERS set as required.

I have the same problem. Software works well and I access the Radioberry with SDR Console. Only thing I see is noise on all frequencies.

I use a simple copper wire connected to the ANT connector of the preamp board.

Same result, if I detach the preamp board and use the Radionberry board on the RX connector.

Does this mean, that the board has a defect?
