yes - but thanks for the suggestion.
I have the rcv gain cranked to max.

I slipped 25 feet of RG8 between the antenna feed and the radioberry hat
and lost all signal again. That little bit of extra loss made it deaf again.
(I was planning on relocating the radioberry near a network power
switch so I can power
it on/off remotely - but I will have to make other arrangements).

Hi John,

At max LNA gain (+48db) you will see constant ADC clip even with a poor antenna. I suspect there is something wrong with your radioberry. Search for radioberry or hermes-lite (same frontend and AD9866) on youtube and compare your receiver performance with others.
