I'm looking at the truSDX RF board and I'm thinking it should be easy to get it working with the radioberry.

The board has 5 band filters, selectable with I2C commands and I think (If I'm reading the schematic correctly) it does TR/RX switching (the line marked "drive" is the RF input to the board, and the one  marked "RF" is the signal from the antenna for the receiver).

I suppose all it will involve is modifying one of the SDR programs so it sends the I2C commands that this board expects for band change and the signalling for the TX/RX (I think this is just a line asserted on the GPIO so it's fast for CW break-in, etc.)

There's also an SWR sensor on it.

Before I go off and try this, I want to see if anyone else has done it so I don't reinvent the wheel. These boards are cheap and put put 2-3 watts. (I have several versions, for different 5-band configurations for the truSDX).

Thanks!

Short answer: not a good idea.
Long answer: Understand how trusdx differs from radioberry.
