I finished assembling my transceiver and was deeply disappointed. The issue of sensitivity loss after transmission has already been discussed. I want to point out that this doesn't happen every time, but always after the transceiver is first turned on.
Now there's another problem I hadn't noticed before, or maybe it was there but I didn't pay attention. There's a delay of about 2-3 seconds between PTT ON  and switching to TX a similar amount of time afterward PTT released but TX is still ON.
If CW is used it does the same. Straight key or CWL/CWR pins.
What did I miss or do wrong? Does anyone have a transceiver that works as it should? CW and SSB. Was searching for on YouTube but only fancy AliExpress toy radio receiver advertisements or attention seekers with fakes.

first issue is been solved; at least someone needs to give it a try; i did the modification based on reviewing the code.

2 or 3 seconds is not workable; how does your wiring looks like... it seems that you are using a driver which contains a capacitor wich does the delay for switching on and off.

Which pins are you using from the RB io?

Please use a scoop or voltmeter and do measure the io voltage directly at the RB.

Let us know how your configuration looks  like ?

Johan,

I don't see any change implemented. This needs to be properly tested,
anyway, so as not to break existing systems.

Kind regards, Samuel Lourenço

I have tested delay problem on two Radioberry boards. Absolutely same on two different boards. Came to conclusion that PIHPSDR was damaged by attempt to install digital mode. Installation itself failed so I just didn't use it.
Wiped out everything and installed fresh Radioberry and PIHPSDR from Johan. No delays on PTT function but CW pins don't work. Was trying to install DL1YCF PHPSDR but now have red line on the middle of the waterfall and no audio.

Hello,
I've already had this problem during my tests.
Just reinstall the Radioberry firmware and everything should work normally.
