I am on RPi5 and after I transmit the receive sensitivity changes. Noise floor that was -110db drops to -130dB.
Don't believe I noticed this on RPi4.

That is true but the rx signal strength is not displayed accurate after TX.
Seems like there should be a fix for this.

Same here...

Receiver works ok until first tx, then rx drops. Ajusting RX level returns to normal and then works ok until reboot

RPi4, DL1YCF pihpsdr branch

Me too, it always has. I key up and reset the level right after starting to work around it, but I think it's a driver bug...
Quick does it too!

Neither does it if I connect to my Hermes instead...

Hello everyone,
I'm also having the same desensitization problem.
My RP4/RadioBerry/LCD screen/HPSDR configuration
or RP4/RadioBerry/Thétis under Windows.
It's the same in both configurations.
Probably the RadioBerry or RP4 is the culprit.

How much does it drop? I am not having this issue. But I am using my own software and only the driver not the firmware (hpsdr  service).
You can enable or check the driver monitoring to see what commands are send to the radioberry. If the gain changes there must be a gain command visible.

For rpi-4 i did an update in the firmware. is someone willing to test if this keeps the rx gain consistent.
