Dave posted a tweet pointing to his Radio3 linkblog. I looked at it, liked it, poked around a bit and discovered I have one too! Apparently I had last used Radio3 to post to twitter in Feb 2015. I'm not sure I even noticed the linkblog home back then. I did put the linkblog feed into Feedly and it still works. But I'm getting strange behavior with the linkblog home. I open it in a new tab from Radio3 and I see "Last update:" and a date/time with the linkblog title below that, "Radio3: Ron Chester's Linkblog," but no content below the title. Blank! Same thing if I open a new tab, plop in the url for the linkblog [
http://radio3.io/users/W6AZ/ ] and hit enter.
Then I discovered that the content would suddenly fill in below the title if I waited long enough, like 40 secs or so. When I clicked on Dave's linkblog url, it came up with the title and content right away. Maybe mine is not doing that because it has been seven months since I last posted to it? I tried refreshing in the browser (Chrome on my Chromebook 2) but that didn't wake anything up. [Well maybe I didn't wait long enough.]
I opened several tabs from Radio3, each with my linkblog home in them and they all showed the content only after the long delay. I poked around in the docs, the settings, and such for a while, looking for some explanation for this, but found nothing. Then I clicked back on some of those open tabs and discovered the content had disappeared. They were back to showing only last update date/time and title! I clicked refresh on the browser and after a long wait (40 secs) the content reappeared.
I'm puzzled. Is there a fix for this?
