I doubt that the Jones Act has shriveled the maritime industry.

If it weren’t for the Jones Act, the few remaining U.S. flag shipping companies would be gone or flagged out with flags of convenience. The company contributions to our pensions would dry up as eventually would our pensions.

Hello Group-

I wonder how Trump will look at the Jones Act? Its 2025 and container ships run on small crews and stay in

port for only a few hours and most Americans dont want to go to sea anymore. MSC has had to lay up a lot

of their ships because they lack employees. I am glad that I sailed from 1980-1996 and been all over the

world on US Flag ships when times were better than now.....

If this is your second question you asked me, read your message, you haven't asked a question. You just made a remark wondering how Trump will look at the Jones Act. 

First, I don't understand what you are wondering.

Second, you don't ask a question, so there is nothing to reply to.

It seems to me that you just wanted to say what you said.

But I have no reply to your remarks. 

Notice, it's nearly 0400 and I am still answering emails. 

If I haven't answered your question, ask it again, and try to be concise and clear. I find your wandering, unfocused style difficult to comprehend.

There is no reason to take  the issue between us going public. All I asked you is if you went to your local library to

get the article I sent you concerning the Jones Act that was in the Wall St Journal. Thats all I asked. Many weeks ago I sent

you something (diff subj) and you got the article from your library via internet. I am sorry that this issue has become a issue between us.

 I do not like this.

Why do I have to go to the library and get an electronic copy of the article in tiny picture you sent me?

That's YOUR JOB.

In 25 years of publishing "The Professional Marine Communicator" then the Juno one-way Radio Officers email list, then this radio-o...@googlegroups.com email list and the Facebook Radio-Officers Group not one person who expected me to send out an article, has EVER just sent me (only) a picture or even an email with the electronic version of the article. 

Not one. Ever.

People send me photocopies of private information that is NOT for publication. Sometimes they add "you can publish this if you want."

You remind me of a Democrat - the kind that always spends other people's money, or wants other people to do their job for them. Oh, wait: you are a Democrat. What a great match up. You expect and demand that I do your work for you.  NO! Become self-sufficient. Do your own work. 

STOP this or I will BAN you from this group and block your email address from my email server. 

I will also block any further email accounts of yours.
