Dear OMs , I am referring to a message about one week ago
published her in this googlegroups.com. The message was
supplemented by the following comment in latin language:
          "UBI MORSE VERBO CESSAT"
Can someone please translate it for me. Unfortunately I
deleted the message itself from my PC and I would be
interested to also get the wording of it repeated. So it probably
is easier to get the wanted meaning of that preceding message.

HIHI!! " UBI MORSE VERBO CESSAT.." is a false latin proverb I made for joke.
The genuine latin is UBI MAJOR MINOR CESSAT that means the weak
(minor) capitulates before the strong (major), often used by ancient romans.
So UBI MORSE VERBO CESSAT "means" that the phone (verbo) capitulates before
the Morse code (Morse).
Surely it isn't exact Latin, but it is a simple way to say that telegraphy is the strongest mode.

That's all folks !!

Regards
