WW2 Sparks Henry Pessah SK

Hello all,

I was working the amateur bands today and spoke with the son in law of Mr. Henry Pessah, K1IGE (SK).  He was a RO on a freighter during WW2 and somehow managed to take a U-boat key as a war prize.  The key is now in the possession of his son in law.  I am going to try to get a photo.

Here is a link to his obituary, from 2022, and he was an interesting gentleman.  He let his T-2 lapse in 2012 but kept his amateur license active until his passing.  

I encouraged his family to apply for his Congressional Gold Medal in honor of his service.

Obviously a U Boat Morse key, not like Fritz had to borrow the U Boat key from Uncle Adolf
