Titanic Documentary

Hello Everyone,

 

For those  of you who can receive the Discovery TV channel, be aware that they will be airing the documentary “ Return to The Titanic” on Sunday April  19^th  at 20:00 hours Eastern Standard Time.  Since this is the second airing of the documentary in a week, it is also available at the Discovery Channel web site

For the first time in nearly 15 years, a team descends  down to the Titanic to examine the condition of the wreck and pay homage to those who perished; the great grandson of Benjamin Guggenheim, who occupied a state room on the ship, joins the crew.

Jerry, that is strange, since it was a National Geographic documentary and NG and Discovery are competitors.  I think that this might only be on Discovery in Canada, not the USA.

That’s right.

I tried it over here in Belgium and it states that it’s only available in Canada.

And, by the way, last Monday there was “Titanic’s Fatal Fire” here on the screen via National Geographic;  and on Tuesday it was the film “Save the Titanic: Treasures from the Deep”.

Hi  Parks,

 

For the first airing on April 12^th , I cannot  remember the channel from which I watched it.

For the airing on April 19th, I got that information from the Discovery Channel  itself just yesterday.

Unfortunately, I cannot advance my cable programming guide to verify the second airing information but I’m sure there will be a few previews before that date. .

Yes , I have run into situations where I cannot view US web content in Canada. Hence the reason for saying : if you can receive it” 

Adding  the program's availability on the web was an afterthought.
