Radio Officer Fired, New Sparks Hired, New Problems for Ship.

First the Old Sparks was fired for calling GKB illegally, GKB would not answer if you didn't follow the ITU regulations.  Poor chap!

The torturers say "NOW... REPEAT AFTER ME ... HALF A DOZEN GKB'S FOLLOWED BY MY CALLSIGN 3 TIMES AND QSS ...... JUST ONE MORE!!!!!!

New Sparks was hired, and the Old Man is troubled because he's getting no messages from the Office or Agents, so he asks if the new Sparks has listened to the list.

Caption: "The list?  ...... Well, the Stones are number one sir ..... But I never thought you'd be interested."

The a curious thing happens in the Saloon, there are NO engineers there.  Why? The Captain explores and finds the reason.

Caption: "I wondered why there were no engineers in the saloon, Sparks.  That's their skylight you're doing your kneebends on..."

And finally since the Captain has received no messages from agents or company, he is forced to anchor outside the seabuoy.  Of course, no launch will come that far, so no shore leave.  Here's what happened.

Caption: "But if there's no shore leave, how am I going to post all these messages you've been giving me?"

I guess the Old Man is stumped on that one.
